Why not?

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I finished my last class at Stevens-Henager!!!!  HURRAY!!!  At least, for the time being.  You never know if I'll go back for my bachelor's degree later.  ANYWAY that's another thought for a later time.  For now, I'm totally excited!  And even better, I found out while I'm at the Oregon Coast, so it's going to be an even more relaxing time!  YAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!!!!!
And while we're here, we gotten to be with some of our awesome friends we've had forever who are awesome and they're awesome and they're also awesome!  It was so great to see them again, I've missed them a ton!
And we've gotten to go walk historic Newport, where my brother fed a Sea Lion.  Here is the video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3-3ZQAwUSGo
Good ol' Jiggers!  That was really fun!  The guy was funny, he eats raw tuna and loves fishing, whether it's tuna or halibut.  Strange, I can't imagine enjoying fishing.  Though I probably could get into fishing on the ocean!
AAAAND I got to buy a pair of my very own CONVERSE!!!!!!  It's only too true, and I'm so excited I can barely stand it!
Here they are!
I was excited.  haha... now I'm ready for a Doctor Who episode!  It'll be about...
Sea lions.

 A whole colony:

Or maybe not, Steven Moffat will find some way to make Sea Lions freaky, and I'd rather not deal with it.  ;)

Ninja Chipmunk

FEAR the mighty Ninja Chipmunk!  For if you make her mad, she's going to find you and uhhhhhhhhhhhh try to open her mouth so she can chew you out.  Which is kinda scary, right?
Okay fine.  I got my wisdom teeth out yesterday.  And yesterday it hurt, but not too badly.  Today it hurts quite a bit.  This morning it does anyways, but I should've thought it might, 'cuz it's been a while since I had Ibuprofen, since I don't have the skillz needed to swallow pills in my sleep.  haha
But yeah, my mouth can only open far enough to drink stuff and get stuff off a spoon.  Thank goodness I can get a spoon in!  So far for breakfast I've had a bowl of sherbet and an ice cream/nectarine smoothie thing Mom made.  And soon I shall eat some of the ice cream brought by SwashbucklerT! (Thanks again so much!) Why couldn't I do this when I didn't have teeth gone?  Just kidding!  :D
So according to Mom, the anesthesia made me kinda funny.  I talked in a really high slow voice, asked to keep my wisdom teeth over and over, and then just wouldn't stop talking.  I did get to keep my wisdom teeth, isn't that exciting?  Scary thing is, I don't remember a lot of the drive home.  I remember getting out of the chair, being helped to the car, getting into the car, suddenly seeing Dad at his office, getting asked by Mom to stop talking so I wouldn't keep chomping on my lower lip, suddenly seeing my cousin at my grandparents' house, and then the drive home is a bit hazy, but I kinda remember it. Then Mom helped me out of the car and onto the couch, and I asked to play the wii, and she said probably not yet.  And I remember all of that.  :D  Then we got to watch Sense and Sensibility, because Mom knew magically what I was saying with her psychic powers...  haha This is our conversation:
Mom: Do you want to watch a movie
Me: uh huh
Mom: We have Little women, Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility...
Me: nuh uh, nuh uh, other one
Mom: Which other one?
Me: other sense and sinesinfnsinceifity
Mom: Oh, this one?
Me: uh huh
Sounds like a Ponyo conversation, but I can't eat ham right now.  :)  hahahahaha
All of this made me even more grateful for an awesome Mom who doesn't video me, or do anything horrid like picture taking or listening to me when I want to go to the dance studio.  Apparently I asked to do that too!  Just shows my priorities, I guess!  :D
Well, another day, another adventure!  I get to try to brush my teeth today and I also get to eat some scrambled eggs, and I'm going to be rinsing with salt water, and most just kinda hanging.

Weird...

So this morning before waking up, I had an odd dream...  I was going to join a special military program specializing in HTML.  Yes folks, I was going to be a secret service HTML agent, but first my work had to be okayed.  So I sent it in, and went to Settler's Park to meet with the undercover agents to see how I did.  They were my dance students, you just never know how talented they really are to be in the secret service HTML program!  :D  Especially in Grade school and Middle school...  haha
Anyways, I had made a pretty cool website, but the people who reviewed it and put the review in the envelope informed me that I hadn't done a very good job at all, and had only got a 35% on it.  The forms were covered in red pen, and I had several comments telling me what I should've done instead.  They got one of their secret agents to re-do my website, and I had to admit that they were right, theirs was AMAZING.  It was a bit depressing, but at the same time, really cool!  So then my brother had to give one of his shoes to the people to take back to HQ, and we ran around at the play equipment, then we all started off home eating poptarts and licorice and I think we flew some kites too, and then I woke up...
But I still remembered the awesome version of the website!  So I kinda sketched it out, and I can't wait to see if I can re-create it!  :D  But yeah. Remember, HTML agent is watching...  uh...  your website...  yeah.

Birthdays!

Odorf and Jiggers had birthdays this July!  How exciting, I love birthdays!  Jiggers got a surprise birthday party, and Odorf got a sweet picture:
Odorf dislikes every character in that picture, so I mashed 'em with a 1 ton weight...  tehe... I promise she got other stuff too, but that was her birthday card.  :D  I have a very patient sister, don't I?

Bouncing again

There are times I sit in class, and I feel like the words bounce right off of me.  And then the words bounce so much outside of me and against my ears, that they enter and bounce inside my head.  That's an exciting thing that they actually are in my head now, but THEN they have a fun time bouncing off the walls of my head.  So instead of being absorbed as part of my thinking process, they bounce around greeting each other and popping up when I least need them... "Hullo, I'm the DOM." "Hi DOM!  I'm Parsing!"  "Hey look, it's Variable!"  "See ya later Encapsulation"  "Oooooooo Hierarchical... what a snooty whatchamacallit" "Ph34r m3 ! 4m 73h XHTML... mw4 h4 h4 h4 h4......."
And after they have their fun bouncing off the walls, I finally get them all to settle down, and then I get to sort through them all to try to use them.
This just means I have to go to sleep earlier.  :D  haha

Random thoughts for a Tuesday

Here I am waiting at school for my sister to get out of her class.  I think she has another 20 minutes to get out, but it seems like I've already been waiting 30.  But I like sitting here, the table I'm at smells strange though, at first it smelled like fish food, and now it smells like.... I think it's Top Ramen noodles.  Yes, that's the excitement of the table.  :D  While I was homeschooled, for writing we'd write a page of something Pearls before Swine calls "Stream of consciousness" (see below)
And there you have a prime example of stream of consciousness.  So that's what you're being subjected to today, I'm just writing whatever pops into my head to write about next.  Today I made a program in C#, and it was really exciting!  So far, I have Pete, the hero:
Charming, isn't he?  Just dreamy.  He runs around the screen being controlled by the arrow keys.  Then we have his arch nemesis, the bad guy:
Try not to be too afraid, he doesn't do much yet.  So far, he just follows Pete around, but stalking is still pretty creepy... :)  Someday he's probably going to eat Pete, but I don't know how to do that yet.
Exciting stuff!  I think my sister's class is out, but where is she?  So....  I have a sister.......   (end of the mutilated Darth Vader quotes) Perhaps I should go find her...  yeah...  I shall.
Happy June 1st!

Sewing adventures TRIUMPH!

Project 2...  the green dress.
I started this project right after I finished the black dress, and I just finished it yesterday with the help of my wonderful Mother, without whom this never would've been possible, AT ALL.  Thanks, Mom!!!!
So this one started out as this pattern:

I was using the one that got whited out by the flash...  but first I cut out the wrong pattern and ran out of fabric.  So that was the second trip to JoAnn's to get more fabric.
Then I made the bodice, the sleeves were a pain, the bodice was pretty easy, then it looked horrible when I got that part done.  So I looked at it, dragged it to Mom, complained in a loud tone, she totally understood and complained with me, and then we played with the bodice, nothing worked, and we scrapped it.  At least, for a little while.  I went searching through the old patterns to see if there was another bodice that would work, and found this old pattern:
"Look!" I yelled to Mom, "It looks like the lines are SIMILAR!!!"  and Mom was like "Well, this can't get any more messed up, let's go for it!"
And so we went back to JoAnn's and got more fabric.  That was the 3rd trip.  So I made that bodice, and sure enough, it worked pretty well!  Then it was too long, so I took the shoulders up a bit, and that made it fit perfectly.  So I started the sleeves...  and realized I didn't want the ginormous ones belonging to the pattern, and I didn't want to re-make the other sleeves very much at all.  So I looked at the old bodice that turned out so awful, and decided the sleeves could be salvaged.  And they were!  After Mom remade them, that is...
  haha
Then we did the zipper and a few other things, Mom top stitched and used a nifty hemmer attachment on her machine, and this is it!

And now, I'm not making anymore dresses until I get a few skirts done.  I LIKE SKIRTS.  SKIRTS DON'T HAVE SLEEVES.
